I finally stopped in today, and here’s my honest review: • Customer Service: — I was greeted so nicely. The cashier was very friendly, and service was prompt. • Food Quality: Hot, fresh, and the portions are huge! Definitely enough to feed two people. Here’s what I ordered: rib tips, yams, collard greens, and cornbread dressing with gravy. • Rib Tips: Tender, but could use more flavor.. the sauce saved it, but I’d rate them a 6/10. Still enjoyable! • Collard Greens: Packed with flavor and tender, but I like to see some meat in mines 8/10. • Yams: On the basic side, but I love yams, so I didn’t mind. Sweet, not overly so, though I personally like them dripping in cinnamon-sugar sauce. Still, solid 8/10. It had like a sweet aftertaste • Cornbread Dressing: 10/10 — hands down the star of the plate. Perfectly moist and seasoned. Haven’t had dressing this good in a long time! Overall, this was a really good experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend this spot if you’re looking for hearty portions and great flavor.

I stop at Lape every time I'm in Warren for a few days. They never disappoint. Today, I had the oxtails with greens and red beans&rice. The 7up pound cake was awesome. Service is always good, and you never wait too long

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now and usually around holiday time. Everything is outstanding and the service is top notch. It’s still amazes me that I still have trouble picking what I want because I want it all

This is my first time visiting this place. The food is a 4/5 for me. Spaghetti is a little soupy and on the salty sides. The macaroni and cheese is on the basic side. The bbq rib tips are VERY good and meaty! Still good food overall.

I love it here! They never disappoint; they always on point. Customer service is always on point and fast. Sad y’all was closed today was really looking forward to some soul food. Prices are great for the amount of food you get as well. Not to expensive and worth it!

Not a disappointment here. I would call in ahead of time because the wait time can be a bit irritating but they're busy most of the time. The food is delicious . The customer service is good. Portions reasonably priced.

Lape is not what it used to be. It's fair and I go maybe once a quarter. Lately, the macaroni hasn't been worth the calories. The chicken is good. The greens are OK.
